We are proud to announce that identidad has been attested under the Global Leaders’ Forum (GLF) Code of Conduct, the industry’s benchmark for fighting fraud in international telecommunications.
For us, this isn’t just a badge. Fraud affects every carrier, every partner and every customer, and fighting it is part of how we work every single day.
What is the GLF Code of Conduct?
The GLF Code of Conduct is an industry-wide commitment to fight fraud in wholesale telecom, focused on Voice traffic. It sets out the principles carriers agree to follow, such as:
- Monitoring and reporting fraudulent activity
- Having clear processes to detect and stop it
- Taking swift action on payments linked to fraud
- Sharing information across the industry
- Using consistent contractual terms that treat fraud the same way everywhere
The goal is simple: consistent, industry-wide action against fraudulent Voice traffic.
What does attestation mean?
Signing the Code is the first step. Attestation is where a carrier proves it lives by it. Each signatory goes through a self-assessment against every principle, must reach a high score on each one, and has to back its answers with evidence.
It’s a rigorous process, and it gives partners and customers a trusted way to see who is truly committed to protecting the industry.
Why it matters to us
At identidad, we take fraud seriously. Our teams monitor traffic, investigate suspicious activity and work with our partners to keep our network clean and trustworthy. Seeing that effort recognized through an independent process is a proud moment for everyone here.
